Where to Stay in Disney World Resort Orlando Florida
Article by Aleyn Rose
Orlando is surely the world’s top destination for family vacations, because of its many theme parks. Walt Disney World has four giant theme parks; Universal Orlando has two great parks and one the most wizarding world of harry porter- theme park. Disney World also has 23 on-site theme resort hotels, from Value to Luxury with kids’ club and spa. The resorts have giant grounds; activities can range from horseback rides to canoeing. All resorts-even Fort Wilderness Campground– enjoy perks such as free bus system, Magic Express shuttle from the airport, Extra Magic Hours in the parks. Staying at a Disney World resort offers several conveniences in getting you to the theme parks-
From some Disney World resorts, you can reach the Magic Kingdom by monorail or boat fun, convenient, and a time-saver medium.
The excellent Disney buses run continuously from your resort to the theme parks and water parks, and they’re blissfully cool on a hot day. The buses also shuttle from one park to another.
Don’t think you can save much travel-time by staying “in the World” and using the bus system. Walt Disney World is the size of Boston, and the drive from a Resort to the theme park of your choice can take fifteen minutes; plus you may have some waiting time for a bus. Most buses run about twenty minutes.
If you have your own car, you might be able to do the morning dash to a theme park just as fast from a non- Disney World property. The end of the day may be more complicated. If you’ve park-hopped by using the buses or monorail, you’ll have to get back to your parking lot. Disney Resort guests, meanwhile, just board one bus for home.
The Disney world resorts has got 23different resorts choose yours as your interest-
Theming- Some families just love a particular resort because of its theme. In that case animal kingdom lodge is highly recommended-Fantastic architecture and d

Disney World Horses Both Entertain And Serve
Article by Herb Leibacher
Walt Disney was a big fan of horses. In fact his very first job as an artist was drawing his neighbor’s horse named Rupert. He earned a grand total of five cents for the job. But from small starts, big outcomes can grow. And Walt’s love of drawing and horses grew over time. If you look back, you can probably identify several different Disney films that feature horses – especially films bearing princes. And that fondness for horses can be seen even now throughout the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
Today Walt Disney World normally keeps about 75 horses at a time that serve in many different roles, from pulling Cinderella’s glass carriage for special wedding ceremonies to providing pony rides to excited little tots.
The home of the Disney horses, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, is located in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. The Ranch is technically split into two different sections. The first piece of the horse ranch is located just inside the campground entrance at a place called the Outpost. Here you can make reservations for a trail ride. The second part of the ranch is located in the rear of the campgrounds in the section called the Settlement. There is where the horse barn, blacksmith shop, ponies, and carriages are stored. It is also in the additional area that you can visit a huge red calliope.
Here are some of the ways you can interact with horses at Walt Disney World:
Ride the Trails
Take a pleasant 45 minute trail ride that leaves from the Outpost section of the Fort Wilderness. If you want to enjoy this attraction, you need to be at least 4 feet tall and must weigh less than 250 pounds. You can‚Äôt carry anything while riding. The good news is that you can store your personal possessions in a locker without charge. Most importantly, you need to have closed toe shoes – no open toe footware. You will get to experience the ‘unspoiled Florida’ of beautiful riding paths and meadows.
Check Out the Ponies
Nearly all kids enjoy riding a pony, and they can do just that in the Settlement area of the campgrounds. Take a few minutes to visit the horse barn and blacksmith shop, and then those children under four feet tall and 80 pounds can ride a pony around the yard. Parents are always nearby and provide guidance.
Check Out the Wagons
Each night you can ride in a horse drawn wagon for a leisurely ride around Fort Wilderness. The room on the wagon is limited and is first-come, first-served, so be sure to get there early.
Ride the Carriages
Away from the campgrounds you can ride in a carriage through the splendor of the old south that is Disney’s Port Orleans resort. The carriages hold four adults or two adults and three kids.
All of these attractions may change, so confirm availability and make advanced reservations by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. You can also ask at the Tri-Circle-D ranch when you arrive. You will be glad you did when you get to interact with these amazing animals, the Disney horses.

The Historic Eminence of Breeder’s Cup – World Equestrian Family Preps Up
Article by Lee Lane-Edgar
While Triple Crown may be the attractive and selling face of the world horse racing scene and may almost be loved by every horse racing enthusiast, when it comes to serious devoted racing, the complete equestrian fraternity will agree that Breeder’s Cup is in its true sense the real challenge and truly a ‘Test of the Champions’. A two day event, the tournament’s outlay ranges to a staggering million with million purse set for Breeder’s Classic alone.
The 2011 Breeder’s Cup shall take place on November 4th and 5th on the traditional Churchill Downs race track that has been granted this grand money wagering event a consecutive year after 2010. The racetrack which already is a dedicated Kentucky Derby venue, is recognized as the most famous and audience drawing venue and has been iconic long before the Breeder’s started. The Churchill Downs emerged as a concrete revenue generating track that organizes the two most eminent thoroughbred races of the year along with several other race meets and simulcast wagering events.
Synonymous with the greatest sports events, Breeder’s Cup is the most prominent thoroughbred racing event and also potentially the biggest payday for every player from the equestrian discipline. The grand tournament that also awards the Horse of the Year title was seconded as the biggest payday only by the Dubai World Cup that wagers million in a single day compared to the 2 day Breeder’s Cup affair. Comprising of a total of 14 races with as many as 12 entrees each, qualification for the races is conducted on Entry Level Challenge Races also famously known as “Win and You’re In”.
With 6 races held on the first day, a Friday and 8 races on Saturday, the most significant and synonymous with Breeder’s Cup tournament races, the Breeder’s Cup Turf and the Breeder’s Cup Classic with a purse of million and million respectively are held as the closing and final races to mark the event closure. The significance of Breeder’s Cup is unquestionably by far the most difficult to answer. With probabilities to turn mere prospects into prime attractions for the Triple Crown next year, the older three year old category and four attain a celebrity image and carve a special niche for themselves as future siring legends too.
Additionally Breeder’s Cup two day affairs also prove to be the ‘make or break’ days for many a bettors. With such huge payouts on horses, the bets won guarantee huge returns. And while most experienced bettors are hooked on to the solid performers, the casual bettors often win Jackpots with sudden impromptu victories by the underdogs.
